Greenjets has introduced a new shared-ride service on private jet charter flights. A confirmed seat on Greenjets between New York and Florida will cost only $1,100 per person with a Greenjetcard Black membership. The Greenjetcard, which the company says is the industry's first and only shared-ride private jet discount card, saves travelers 60 percent, or more off the already affordable Greenjets seat prices and up to 90 percent less than charter, fractional ownership or jet cards. Travel agents selling the membership cards to their clients will receive 20 percent commission immediately and an additional $250 every time the customer flies. Agents can purchase the membership cards directly from Greenjets’ website or by phone and can also request a sales packet (at an additional cost) which explains the brand and outlines different selling techniques.
Greenjets currently serves New York, Florida, Chicago, and Boston and will begin service to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, and Atlanta in the next few months. Throughout 2010 and 2011, 27 markets, including Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix, will form part of the Greenjets Shared-Ride Network. Greenjets shared-ride service offers an option to private travelers that they didn’t have before – the ability to arrange and confirm a seat on a private jet at the lowest possible industry prices.
